ROAD CLOSURE: 37th STREET FROM JEANNETTE DRIVE TO ALEXANDER DRIVE AND WADE DRIVE TO CRAIG AVENUE

Starting tomorrow (November 23, 2022) at 7 a.m., both lanes of 37th Street from Jeannette Drive to Alexander Drive and Wade Drive to Craig Avenue will be closed on a continuous basis. 

BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR PARTS OF GRAND ISLE

In conjunction with Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for Grand Isle from Cheniere to Rosethorn Lane as a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the distribution system. 

ROAD CLOSURE: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE AT EDENBORN AVENUE

Starting tomorrow (Friday, November 18, 2022) at 9 a.m., one eastbound lane of West Esplanade Ave. at Edenborn Ave. will be closed. 

HARVARD WALKING TRACK AND PARKING LOT CLOSED

The Harvard Walking Track and parking lot in Terrytown is closed until Monday, November 21, 2022 for asphalt repairs and resealing.

BONNABEL BOAT LAUNCH TOT LOT CLOSED FOR TWO WEEKS

Starting today, the Bonnabel Boat Launch Tot Lot will be closed for two weeks due to construction of the Bonnabel restroom building. 

JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED ON FRI. NOVEMBER 11, 2022, IN OBSERVANCE OF VETERANS DAY

All Jefferson Parish Government offices, including the Jefferson Parish libraries and the Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS), will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, the Department of Environmental Affairs; a Keep American Beautiful affiliate is partnering with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office LASER Division, OMI Environmental Solutions and the Department of General Service, to collect Household Hazardous Materials (HHM) from Jefferson Parish residents.

The Jefferson Parish Planning Department, with the assistance of planning and zoning consulting firm Camiros, will be hosting two public meetings to solicit input on the draft industrial zoning regulations, which will update the Parish’s regulation related to industrial zoning districts.
