JEFFERSON, LA – Today, Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng has issued a Proclamation of Additional Measures for State of Emergency in order to timely and effectively meet the needs of the Jefferson Parish community and Jefferson Parish employees during the current COVID-19 outbreak.

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting today at 9:00 a.m., one lane westbound on Lapalco Blvd. at Promenade Blvd. to 4908 Lapalco Blvd. will be closed.

ROAD CLOSURE - WEST NAPOLEON AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting today, there will be a complete closure of W. Napoleon Ave. between Metairie Heights Ave. and Galleria Blvd.

LANE CLOSURE - CENTRAL AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA - Starting on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the northbound lane of Central Ave. between Karen Ave. and Airline Hwy. will be closed.

BAA HEARINGS WILL BE CONTINUED

JEFFERSON, LA – The Bureau of Administrative Adjudication (BAA) hearings scheduled today and moving forward on the East Bank and West Bank will be continued and new court dates will be set for a later time.

John Bel Edwards took additional significant measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Louisiana, further limiting the size of gatherings to fewer than 50 people, closing casinos, bars and movie theaters and limiting restaurants to delivery, take out and drive-through orders only.
