JEFFERSON, LA – Starting today, there will be a complete closure of W. Napoleon Ave. between Metairie Heights Ave. and Galleria Blvd. Motorists traveling eastbound should take Ridgelake Dr., to detour around the closure using the S. I-10 Service Rd. to Metairie Heights Ave. Motorists traveling westbound should take Metairie Heights Ave. to detour around the closure using the S. I-10 Service Rd. to Bonnabel Blvd., to Metairie Rd., to Causeway Blvd. The closure is necessary for repairing a broken 48” force main at an estimated cost of $60,000. Work will be completed on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
