JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish residents are reminded to obtain the proper permit before repairing, rebuilding or demolishing a structure.

JEFFERSON PARISH APPROVED FOR DSNAP DUE TO IDA

The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) received federal approval to begin Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) operations to provide additional food aid to families impacted by Hurricane Ida.

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Administration, along with the Emergency Management and Public Works Departments, continue to closely monitor the weather and are ready to respond accordingly.

JEFFERSON PARISH TRANSIT RUNS SATURDAY-LEVEL SERVICE

Jefferson Parish Transit will be running Saturday Level services (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) every day until Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Individuals in need of ice, water, MREs and tarps should visit one of the following drive-thru locations today, September 13, 2021 before 6 p.m. (or while supplies last).

HOT LUNCH & SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION AT ESTELLE PLAYGROUND FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2021

Starting now until 2:00pm or supplies last, residents in need of a hot lunch and essential supplies can go to Estelle Playground (5801 Leo Kerner Pkwy. Marrero, LA 70072).
