BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED FOR EAST BANK OF JEFFERSON PARISH

In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), the Jefferson Parish Water Department has lifted the boil water advisory for the east bank of Jefferson Parish based on the analysis of bacteriological samples collected within the distribution system on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR EAST BANK OF JEFFERSON PARISH

In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), the Jefferson Parish Water Department issued a boil water advisory for the east bank of Jefferson Parish on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 due to a loss of pressure in the distribution system as a result of a major water line break outside of the East Bank Water Treatment Plant.

JEFFERSON, LA –The Jefferson Parish Water Department and Emergency crews worked throughout the night to successfully repair the waterline. The Water Department is now working to gradually restore water pressure on the east bank of Jefferson Parish

BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR EAST BANK OF JEFFERSON PARISH

In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), the Jefferson Parish Water Department is issuing a boil water advisory for the east bank of Jefferson Parish as a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the distribution system as a result of a major water line break outside of the East Bank Water Treatment Plant.

JEFFERSON PARISH EAST BANK RESIDENTS ASKED TO CONSERVE WATER

Due to a break in a water main outside the East Bank Water Treatment Plant, located on Jefferson Highway, residents on the East Bank of Jefferson Parish are asked to conserve water.

Jefferson Parish has launched a Narcan Distribution Site at the Marrero Public Health Unit.

JEFFERSON PARISH TO HOST PUBLIC MEETINGS TO GATHER INPUT ON SPENDING FEDERAL DISASTER RECOVERY FUNDS IN RESPONSE TO HURRICANE IDA AND SEVERE STORMS

The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development will host two public meetings to gather citizen input on priority areas, in which to spend federal disaster recovery funds, as a result of the impacts from Hurricane Ida and the declared disaster events in 2020 and 2021.
