JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Department of Property Maintenance Zoning Quality of Life conducted a sweep on the Westbank in Council District 1 on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Thanks to a partnership with Ochsner Health, there’s additional COVID-19 mobile testing throughout the Parish.

The Jefferson Parish Department of Property Maintenance, Zoning/Quality of Life will be conducting a sweep within the geographical boundaries of Council District 1 on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in an effort to address property violations for quality of life enforcement.

The Alario Center COVID-19 drive-thru testing site will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2021 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

LANE CLOSURES: DAVID DRIVE

Starting Monday, January 18, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. the two southbound lanes of David Dr. will have alternating lane closures between W. Napoleon Ave. and Lynette Dr.

JEFFERSON PARISH RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE ZETA CAN APPLY FOR FEDERAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE

Homeowners and renters who suffered damage from Hurricane Zeta in Jefferson Parish should register with FEMA and apply for federal disaster assistance as soon as possible.

VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LAFRENIERE SUB-AREA PLAN

Jefferson Parish will be hosting a public meeting to provide an update on the implementation of the Lafreniere Sub Area Plan.

Starting Monday, January 11, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. the left westbound lane of Lapalco Blvd. at the Harvey Canal Bridge will be closed.
