LANE CLOSURE: TRANSCONTINENTAL DRIVE
Starting at 6:00 p.m. today, March 28, 2022, all northbound lanes of Transcontinental Dr., between Quincy St. and Veterans Blvd. will be closed.
ROAD CLOSURE: DESTREHAN AVENUE AT PATRIOT STREET
Starting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 29, 2022), one northbound and one southbound lane of Destrehan Ave. at Patriot St. will be closed daily from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
ROAD CLOSURE: LAPALCO BOULEVARD AND DESTREHAN AVENUE
Starting Monday, March 28, 2022, one eastbound lane of Lapalco Blvd., plus one northbound and one southbound lane of Destrehan Ave. at the intersection of the two roadways will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
MIKE MILEY PLAYGOUND TENNIS COURTS CLOSURE
The Mike Miley Playground Tennis Courts will be closed on Monday, Mar. 28 and Tuesday, Mar. 29, 2022 due to the installation of pickleball lines.
JEFFERSON PARISH LIBRARY OFFERS ‘FOOD FOR FINES’ PROGRAM DURING NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK
The Jefferson Parish Library system will host a “Food for Fines” drive during National Library Week, which will take place between April 3-9, 2022.
JEFFERSON PARISH HOSTS INFORMATIONAL JOB FAIR
On Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the West Jefferson American Job Center (1900 Lafayette Street, Suite 1, Gretna, LA 70053), the Jefferson Parish Personnel Department will be hosting an informational job fair for all people interested in learning about job opportunities with Jefferson Parish Government.

Starting tomorrow (Thursday, March 24, 2022), one southbound lane of Carrollton Ave. between West Esplanade Ave. and Geneva St. will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, Jefferson Parish is under an “Enhanced Risk” of severe weather this afternoon and evening.
JPAWS, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BLUETAILS PET RESCUE AND THE DREW PET FOUNDATION, HOSTS FIRST-EVER PAWS IN THE PARC EVENT
In partnership with Bluetails Pet Rescue and The Drew Pet Foundation, Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS) will be hosting Paws in the Parc on Saturday, Apr. 2, 2022 at Parc des Familles (6101 Leo Kerner Pkwy., Marrero, LA 70072) from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
LANE CLOSURE: NORTHBOUND CLEARVIEW PARKWAY BETWEEN PERKINS AND SHAW STREETS
Starting Wednesday, March 23, 2022 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., the right and middle lanes of northbound Clearview Parkway between Perkins St. and Shaw St. will be closed. Traffic will be shifted into the left lane.
