JEFFERSON PARISH PARTNERS WITH OCHSNER HEALTH TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FREE MOBILE COVID-19 TESTING
JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish, in partnership with Ochsner Health, has announced additional days for COVID-19 mobile testing throughout the Parish.
LANE CLOSURES: TRANSCONTINENTAL DRIVE AND VETERANS BOULEVARD
Starting Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 7:00 a.m., the right lane of eastbound Veterans Blvd. and the left lane of southbound Transcontinental Dr. will be closed.
JEFFERSON PARISH PARTNERS WITH THE BLOOD CENTER TO HOST BLOOD DRIVES
JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish, in partnership with The Blood Center, will be hosting blood drives at specific playgrounds on the East Bank and West Bank. Blood donations will also be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.
LANE CLOSURE: AMES BOULEVARD
Starting Monday, July 20, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., the northbound lane of Ames Blvd. between Colorado Dr. and Aubrey Place will be closed.
EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE: LAPALCO BOULEVARD
Starting Thursday, July 16, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., all lanes of Lapalco Blvd. in both directions will be closed at the Lapalco Bridge over Bayou Segnette.
Main Entrance of East Bank Regional Library Will Be Temporarily Closed for Repairs
The front entrance of the East Bank Regional Library – 4747 W. Napoleon – will be closed July 27-31 so that repairs can be made to the scrolling marquee sign.
LANE CLOSURE MANHATTAN BOULEVARD
JEFFERSON, LA - Starting Monday, July 20, 2020, at 8:00 a.m., there will be a rotating lane closure of Manhattan Blvd., northbound between Lapalco Blvd. and Elton Ct. Motorists will be directed to the available lane.

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting today, July 14 through Saturday, July 18, the Alario Center COVID-19 testing site has extended hours (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.), increased capacity (no daily max on testing) and decreased turnaround time for results (3-5 days).
