JEFFERSON, LA – The Trunk or Treat event originally scheduled to take place on Friday, October 30, 2020 will be postponed due to numerous trees down and no power in the park from Hurricane Zeta.

Tropical Storm Zeta is currently forecast to bring a multi-hazard threat to the area late Wednesday into Wednesday night as a strong tropical storm or Category 1 hurricane.

LANE CLOSURE: METAIRIE ROAD AT GLENWOOD DRIVE
Starting Monday, October 26, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., the eastbound lane of Metairie Rd. (south side) will be closed 50’ feet west from Glenwood Dr. daily until 3:00 p.m. Flaggers will be stationed on the roadway to facilitate traffic.
