ROAD CLOSURES
RIVERSIDE DRIVE AND POWERLINE DRIVE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 the southbound lane of Powerline Dr., between Jefferson Hwy. and Riverside Dr., will be closed until Saturday, July 16, 2022, weather permitting. Additionally, both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Riverside Dr., between Hickory Ave. and Powerline Dr., will be closed until Monday, August 1, 2022, weather permitting.

See below for detour routes for Powerline Dr. and Riverside Dr.:

• Powerline Dr. - Use southbound Brookhollow Esplanade, turn right onto River Rd. and right onto northbound Powerline Dr.
• Westbound Riverside Dr. - Turn right onto Powerline Dr., left onto Jefferson Hwy., left onto Hickory Ave., to go back to Riverside Dr.
• Eastbound Riverside Dr. – Turn left onto Hickory Ave., right onto Jefferson Hwy., right onto Brookhollow Esplanade, to go back to River Rd.

This closure is necessary for transmission tower and line work. This is an Entergy project and is no cost to the Parish. Work is scheduled to be completed by Monday, August 1, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
