ROAD CLOSURE
WEST METAIRIE AVENUE BETWEEN ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD AND DAVID DRIVE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Monday, April 24, 2023 at 9 a.m., one lane of eastbound West Metairie Avenue between Roosevelt Boulevard and David Drive will be closed continuously. The lane closure will alternate, and motorists will merge to the available lane.

This closure is necessary to repair and replace drainage outfalls, vinyl sheet piles and concrete roadway panels as part of a $16,800,000 West Metairie Avenue improvement project. Work is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 6 p.m., weather permitting.
