ROAD CLOSURE:
ELMWOOD PARK BOULEVARD AT MOUNES STREET

JEFFERSON, LA - Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, Elmwood Park Boulevard at Mounes Street will be closed as follows:

• From Monday, July 31 through Friday, August 11, all northbound lanes of Elmwood Park Blvd. will be closed at Mounes St. Motorists traveling north on Mounes St. can either take a left onto Mounes St., then a right onto Edwards Ave. to continue north or a right on Mounes St., then a left on Clearview Pkwy. and continue north.
• From Monday, July 31 through Friday, October 27, all southbound lanes of Elmwood Park Blvd., will be closed at Mounes St. Motorists traveling south on Elmwood Park Blvd. toward Mounes St. should take a right onto Powell St., a left onto Edwards Ave., which will go back to Mounes St.

This closure is necessary for the installation of 45-foot steel sheet piles and a 25-foot x 18-foot cast-in-place concrete drainage junction box. This is part of an ongoing $7.2 million project.
