ROAD CLOSURE
EASTBOUND WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE
Between Power Boulevard and Craig Avenue

JEFFERSON, LA – Both eastbound lanes of West Esplanade Avenue between Power Boulevard and Craig Avenue will be closed continuously starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024. 

To detour, motorists should take Kawanee Avenue from Power Boulevard and head east to Transcontinental Drive, then turn left back towards West Esplanade Avenue.

This closure is necessary to make improvements to the Bissonet Plaza drainage outfall at a cost of $699,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by 6 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2024, weather permitting.
