ROAD CLOSURE
AMES BOULEVARD BETWEEN THE WEST BANK EXPRESSWAY SERVICE ROAD AND FIELD STREET

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Monday, May 15, 2023 at 9 a.m., the right northbound lane of Ames Boulevard between the West Bank Expressway Service Road and Field Street will be closed continuously. Motorists will merge to the available lane. The right lane of northbound Ames will be required to turn right at the Expressway.

This closure is necessary to isolate a leaking natural gas line at a cost of $10,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 9 p.m., weather permitting.
