March 11, 2020 President Cynthia Lee Sheng Announces Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development Sub-Recipient Funding Opportunities for Nonprofit Organizations (Extended Deadline Through Friday March 20th 2020) |

JEFFERSON, LA – President Cynthia Lee Sheng is pleased to announce that the Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development is currently accepting sub-recipient applications from nonprofit organizations for the 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and Emergency Solution Grant (HESG) programs. The following amounts of funding have been announced by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development: •Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG $2,616,954), •Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME $1,593,256), and •Emergency Solutions Grant (HESG $219,263). Completed applications for 2020 CDBG, and HESG funding must be submitted via email to JPCDPrograms@jeffparish.net by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20th, 2020 and the original must be hand delivered or mailed and postmarked no later than Friday, March 20, 2020 to the following address: Jefferson Parish, Department of Community Development Department, 1221 Elmwood Park Boulevard, Suite 605, Jefferson, Louisiana 70123 Interested parties can download the appropriate application from the Department of Community Development Planning Section on the following Jefferson Parish website: https://www.jeffparish.net/departments/community-development/community-development-planning-program Please contact the Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development for additional information at (504) 736-6262. ### |
