NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF UNINCORPORATED
JEFFERSON PARISH AND THE TOWN OF JEAN LAFITTE:
No Garbage Collection on Thanksgiving Day;
Curbside Recycling will Take Place as Scheduled
JEFFERSON, LA – There will be no garbage collection in unincorporated Jefferson Parish and the town of Jean Lafitte on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2020. Curbside recycling will take place on Thanksgiving Day in areas scheduled to have their curbside recyclables picked-up on a Thursday.
There will be no make-up day for the missed garbage pick-up on Thanksgiving Day. If you are scheduled to have garbage pick-up on a Thursday, your next garbage collection date will be Monday, November 30, 2020.
All four Jefferson Parish trash drop off sites and the Jefferson Parish landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will reopen for business on Friday, November 27, 2020.
