LANE CLOSURES
JEFFERSON HIGHWAY AT DECKBAR AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA - On Saturday, January 29, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., the middle and right lanes of westbound Jefferson Highway, one southbound lane of Deckbar Ave. between Jefferson Highway and Osterley Dr., and the eastbound Jefferson Highway turn lane onto northbound Deckbar Ave. will be closed.

Motorists traveling westbound on Jefferson Highway will detour to the left lane. Those traveling on Deckbar Ave. will detour by turning left on Betz Ave., then left on Osterley Dr., then left on Deckbar Ave., then left onto Jefferson Highway.

The closure is necessary to repair a defective sewer line at a cost of $5,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, weather permitting.
