LANE CLOSURES
BONNABEL BOULEVARD

JEFFERSON, LA – Bonnabel Boulevard between West Esplanade Avenue and the Lake Pontchartrain levee will have single lane closures daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday, July 8 through Thursday, August 8, 2024.

The most disruptive work will take place in the northbound lanes, but the southbound lanes and median openings will also have periodic closures. Motorists should follow signage and merge to the available lanes. 

This closure is necessary to resurface the roadway and replace curbs as part of the $786,969 Bonnabel Boulevard Improvement Project. Work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, August 8 at 4 p.m., weather permitting. For more information, contact Don Hogan in the Streets Department at (504) 349-5800.
