LANE CLOSURE
WEST METAIRIE AVENUE
Between Zinnia Avenue and Transcontinental Drive

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, the westbound lane closest to the canal of West Metairie Ave., between Zinnia Ave. and Transcontinental Dr., will be closed. Motorists will merge to the open lane for travel.

This closure is necessary to install sheeting to stabilize a slope at a cost of $671,508. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, November 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., weather permitting.
