LANE CLOSURE
WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE
JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Monday, December 28, 2020, one eastbound lane of West Esplanade Ave. at Cleary Ave. will be closed. Motorists will merge to the right lane while closure is in effect.
On Monday, December 28 – Sunday, January 3, this closure will be on a continuous basis (24 hours). During the weekdays of Monday, January 4 – Monday, January 18, the closure will be from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and on a continuous basis during the weekends.
The closure is necessary to construct a canal outfall pipe structure and left lane paving at a cost of $3.6 million. Work is scheduled to be completed by Monday, January 18, 2020 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
