LANE CLOSURE
CLEARY AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Saturday, September 5, 2020, at 8:00 a.m., one northbound lane of Cleary Ave. between Veterans Blvd. and W. Esplanade Ave. will be closed.

Motorists traveling northbound on Cleary Ave. will turn right on Veterans Blvd. (eastbound); make a U-turn near Taft Park to Veterans Blvd. (westbound); then turn right on Richland Ave.

The closure is necessary to remove and replace concrete pavement for the northbound travel lane at a cost of $3.6 million dollars. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, December 4, 2020 at 9:00 p.m., weather permitting.
