LANE CLOSURE
AMES BOULEVARD
Between Westbank Expressway and 3rd Avenue

JEFFERSON, LA – Both southbound lanes of Ames Blvd., between the Westbank Expressway and 3rd Avenue, are indefinitely closed due to damage on the road caused by Deviney Construction boring new lines for AT&T. One lane in each direction of the existing northbound lanes will be used for travel.

This closure is necessary for Jefferson Parish to investigate and determine the extent of damage and to complete repairs of the damaged subsurface drainage box and damaged street at a cost of $40,000, which will be paid by AT&T.
