JEFFERSON, LA - Starting on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 6:00 a.m., one lane on 1621 Ames Blvd. (northbound) in Marrero will be closed. This is a two lane highway, drivers will be able to use the available lane. The closure is necessary for repairing a sewer force main at an estimated cost of $3,000. Work is scheduled to be complete by Sunday, February 9, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. weather permitting. For more information, please contact Dwayne Holmes of the Sewerage Department at 437-4815.
