JEFFERSON PARISH WATER DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT CONTROLLED WATER PRESSURE TESTING FOR THE TOWN OF GRAND ISLE
JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Department of Water is preparing for a major infrastructure improvement project at the Cheniere Station in Grand Isle. Residents in this area may notice lower than normal water pressure as controlled testing is being conducted throughout the month of May.
Should the water pressure drop below 20 psi at any time, a boil water advisory will be issued out of an abundance of caution. Your patience is appreciated as these preparations are taking place.
Please share this information with all other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.
The Jefferson Parish Department of Water is committed to ensuring that an adequate quantity of clean, potable water is delivered to you.
If you have additional questions about this repair, please contact the Water Quality Laboratory at (504) 838-4305.
