JEFFERSON PARISH TRANSIT TO SUSPEND SERVICES AT 6PM TODAY ALL BUS SERVICES ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 29, 2021 ARE SUSPENDED
JEFFERSON, LA – Beginning today at 6:00 p.m., Jefferson Transit will suspend all services ahead of Hurricane Ida. All routes will complete their 6:00 p.m. trips and pull into their corresponding facilities.
Paratransit services will be open for essential medical trips only.
We would like to emphasize to all riders the importance of making your way home before the suspended service. Jefferson Transit continues to monitor the weather and will update the public on further service changes as they happen.
