JEFFERSON PARISH TO HOST RESIDENTIAL
CONTRATOR FAIR ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2023

Not accepting applications for homeowner assistance at this meeting

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Community Development Department (JPDCD) is pleased to announce the upcoming 2023 Residential Contractors Fair, which will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in the Joseph S. Yenni Building Council Chambers (1221 Elmwood Park Blvd. – Second Floor) from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

The purpose of this fair is to provide information to Licensed Residential Contractors on the department’s various home rehabilitation and new construction programs. Projects are open to Louisiana State Licensed Contractors, as well as those licensed to work in Jefferson Parish. Selected contractors are fully compensated by JPDCD, or their designated subrecipient, for all work completed according to the specifications in the contract. New construction projects are designed to increase housing availability to low-moderate income residents in Jefferson Parish. Rehabilitation projects are voluntary programs that provide income-eligible homeowners with a forgivable loan to make necessary home repairs.

Please note, applications for homeowner assistance will not be accepted at this meeting.
