JEFFERSON PARISH TO HOST COMMUNITY RESOURCES JAMBOREE

JEFFERSON, LA - In partnership with the United Cajun Navy and ICNA Relief, the Jefferson Engagement and Community Programs cluster, which includes the following departments: Citizens’ Affairs, Community Development, JeffCAP, Senior Services, Cross Cultural, American Job Center and Workforce Development, will be hosting a Community Resources Jamboree on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the John A. Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd., Westwego, LA 70094).

The Community Resources Jamboree will feature parish departments and community partners who will provide information and resources to Jefferson Parish residents, such as: employment opportunities, onsite Head Start enrollment programs, energy assistance information, senior programs, training programs, JPAWS animal adoptions, free hurricane preparedness and fire safety information and much more.
