JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED ON MON. JULY 4
IN OBSERVANCFE OF INDEPENDENCE HOLIDAY
No garbage collection on Monday, July 4; curbside recycling will take place as scheduled
JEFFERSON, LA – All Jefferson Parish offices, including all Jefferson Parish libraries and JPAWS, will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of the Independence holiday. All JPRD summer camps, classes and programs (not including Lafreniere Park or Parc des Familles) will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022 and will resume on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Jefferson Parish Transit will be running a Saturday schedule service on Monday, July 4, 2022. Visit www.JPTransit.org for more information.
There will be no curbside garbage collection on Monday, July 4, 2022 for residents of Unincorporated Jefferson Parish and the Town of Jean Lafitte. There will be no make-up day for the missed garbage collection on Independence Day; the next collection day for those scheduled to have garbage pick-up on Mondays will be Thursday, July 7, 2022. All four Parish trash drop-off sites and the Jefferson Parish Landfill will be closed on Independence Day and will reopen on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Curbside recycling will take place as scheduled.
