JEFFERSON PARISH, IN CONJUNCTION WITH GOVDEALS,
TO HOST ONLINE SURPLUS PROPERTY AUCTION
JEFFERSON, LA – Starting today, Jefferson Parish, in conjunction with GovDeals, will be hosting another Jefferson Parish online surplus property auction until Monday, February 19, 2024. The auction will consist of the following:
- Trucks
- Fire Trucks
- Asphalt Rollers
- Large tractors with backhoes
- Heavy Duty Trailers
- Transit Buses
Bidders will be allowed to view items onsite at the Jefferson Parish Surplus yard (920 David Dr., Metairie, LA, 70003) from Wednesday, February 14 through Friday, February 16, 2024, between the hours of 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. All items will remain online until Monday, February 19, allowing for competitive bidding. After the close of the auction, individuals will have one week to pick up their items at the Jefferson Parish Surplus yard.
In order to participate in the online auction, all new bidders must fill out the Bidder Registration Form. Please note, per La. R.S. 42:1113A, all Jefferson Parish department/agency employees and their immediate family members are prohibited from bidding on and purchasing any surplus property items.
