JEFFERSON PARISH GOVERNMENT SETS UP PLUG-IN STATIONS
Eight locations available for individuals in need of power for oxygen
JEFFERSON, LA – Individuals who need to charge their medical equipment or refill their oxygen tanks can visit Jefferson Parish Plug-In Stations for assistance, which are open 24 hours a day. All should bring their empty oxygen tanks to exchange for full tanks at the following sites:
· Johnny Jacobs Playground in Marrero – 5851 5th Ave, Marrero, LA 70072
· Cleary Playground in Metairie – 3700 Civic St. Metairie, LA 70001
Various Fire Stations are also available 24-7 throughout Jefferson Parish for individuals to plug in; however, please note that oxygen cylinders will not be available at these locations:
· Fire Station 13 – 138 Calumet St., Metairie, LA 70001
· Fire Station 15 – 1101 N. I 10 Service Rd. E, Metairie, LA 70005
· Fire Station 20 – 4110 Hudson St., Metairie, LA 70006
· Fire Station 79 – 9409 E Clark Ln., Westwego, LA 70094
· Fire Station 85 – 2248 Barataria Blvd. Marrero, LA 70072
· Fire Station 51 – 341 Heritage Ave. Terrytown, LA 70056
