JEFFERSON PARISH GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS CLOSED ON MONDAY, AUGUST 24 AND TUESDAY, AUGUST 25 DUE TO HURRICANE MARCO AND TROPICAL STORM LAURA
JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng has announced all parish buildings will close on Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25, 2020 due to Hurricane Marco and Tropical Storm Laura.
The Bonnabel Boat launch and BucktownHarbor Marina will also be closed in preparation for the impending weather.
As a reminder, all curbside garbage and recycling services are cancelled Monday, August 24, 2020. Residents are advised not to place their garbage cans and recycling bins at the curb for pick up.
All garbage and recycling containers should be placed in a secure location away from open spaces.
