JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCILMAN DOMINICK F. IMPASTATO, III
BROKE GROUND ON THE LAFRENIERE PARK SOCCER COMPLEX
METAIRIE, LA – Councilman Dominick F. Impastato, III, Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng and other Jefferson Parish officials broke ground on the Lafreniere Park Soccer Complex, with an approximate cost of $2,373,000.00. The complex will provide a venue for soccer training, scrimmages, games and tournaments for our residents to enjoy.
“Our future soccer stadium is about our community. One investment creates another one, so when this venture is created then other surrounding retail and investment in our businesses will happen and quality of life will be improved,” said Councilman Dominick F. Impastato, III. “Soccer is another enhancement to our comprehensive plan for Lafreniere Park. The fact that we will now have a state-of-the-art soccer complex will allow us to have regional and state soccer tournaments held here in Lafreniere Park.”
The new complex will include two FIFA Certified synthetic turf fields and lights that will illuminate the fields for added night game availability. The goal is to have the complex built by the end of March 2021.
