JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCILMAN BYRON L. LEE HOSTS RIBBON CUTTING
TO CELEBRATE THE LAPALCO BLVD. BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT
MARRERO, LA – On Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, Jefferson Parish Councilman Byron L. Lee hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the Lapalco Boulevard Beautification Project, with a cost of $305,103.00. This project beautified a portion of Lapalco Boulevard at Westwood Drive, which included approximately 1,400 feet of landscape along Lapalco Boulevard.
“We designed the landscaping and beautification so that it would not only be functional, but that it would also be aesthetically pleasing with a welcoming environment to the residents of Westminister, Westwood Crossing and Cypress Place,” said Councilman Lee. “Additionally, we are confident that the constituents who transverse the area daily will be pleased with the enhancement as well. We are incredibly proud of the results.”
The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Marrero. CLICK HERE to watch a video of the full ceremony.
