JEFFERSON PARISH AND ATMOS ENERGY TO
ASSIST RESIDENTS WITH NATURAL GAS BILLS

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Community Action Programs Department (JeffCAP) and ATMOS Energy have partnered to assist Jefferson Parish residents with their natural gas bills during the Share the Warmth Blitz.

Funding is available for those who have already been disconnected or are struggling to pay their natural gas bills, past-due debt, deposits and service charges. Jefferson Parish residents will receive assistance on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are no income guidelines. **No income requirements**

Residents can apply in person on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Johnny Jacobs Playground (5851 5th St., Marrero, LA 70072) or on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kenner Senior Center (641 Compromise St. Kenner, LA 70062).

See below for a list of program guidelines and restrictions:

  1. Current Louisiana Driver’s License, Louisiana State Picture I.D. or Passport
  2. Must be an ATMOS Residential Customer and bill must be in applicant’s name or household member
  3. Must bring a copy of your last bill and/or account number
  4. Must not have received three Share the Warmth pledges in the past year
