JEFFERSON COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAMS (JEFFCAP)
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HEAD START AND EARLY HEAD START 2021-2022 YEAR

JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Community Action Programs (JeffCAP) is accepting applications for Early Head Start and Head Start. To apply, CLICK HERE. The residential and age eligibility for the JeffCAP program is children age 6-weeks-old to 5-years-old (according to Public School Age Guidelines).

To qualify, the following documents are requested:

  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Record
  • Medical Card

For parents, the following documents are required:

  • Photo Identification/s
  • Proof of Jefferson Parish Residency
  • Proof of GROSS 2020 Income/s
  • Current Income/s
  • Documents are requested if you receive SNAP, WIC, SSI or TANF
