FRIENDS OF JEFFERSON PARISH LIBRARY TO HOST BOOKS-BY-THE-BOX SALE
JEFFERSON, LA – The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library are hosting their first ever warehouse sale.
The sale will occur from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the hallway outside the meeting rooms at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon Ave., Metairie, LA 70002.
This event is free of charge and is open to the public. There is no registration.
Patrons will be able to purchase pre-packaged boxes — children’s literature, romance or fiction (combination of hardback and paperback) — for $5 per box. Only cash will be accepted. The boxes will be sold sight unseen. Proceeds benefit the Jefferson Parish Library.
