EMERGENCY WATER MAIN REPAIR IN KENNER TODAY, DEC. 8, 2021

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Water Department will be performing an emergency 60” water main repair today, Dec. 8, 2021. Repair is expected to last at least 24 hours.

Due to this repair, Kenner may experience lower than normal water pressure. Repair crews will remain on-site until full pressure has been restored to all areas and operation crews will be proactively monitoring water pressure in the distribution system.

Customers in the affected area can support the repair efforts by limiting their water use until the repair is complete. Customers who are experiencing low or no water pressure should call the East Bank Water Treatment Plant at (504) 838-4363.
