EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE
WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY AT AVENUE B

JEFFERSON, LA – Two eastbound lanes and two westbound lanes of the Westbank Expressway are closed at Avenue B for an emergency water main repair. Motorists will merge into the open lane.

Repairs are expected to cost $10,000, and work is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, weather permitting. For more information, please contact Water Department Director Sidney Bazley at (504) 736-6742.
