EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE
SOUTH LABARRE ROAD BETWEEN AIRLINE HIGHWAY AND LAUSAT STREET

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting tomorrow, March 19, 2022, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., both the north and southbound lanes of South Labarre Road between Airline Highway and Lausat Street will be closed on a continuous basis. Motorists attempting to reach Lausat Street or L&A Road can detour via Airline Highway or Shrewsbury Road.

This closure is necessary for a sewer repair at a cost of $5,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 8 p.m., weather permitting.
