EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE:
LAPALCO BOULEVARD AT FAIRFIELD AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, July 12, 2023) at 7 a.m., one eastbound lane of Lapalco Boulevard at Fairfield Avenue will be closed continuously. Motorists will merge to the available lanes.

This emergency closure is necessary to repair a sewer force main at a cost of $50,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 6 p.m., weather permitting.
