EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE
COUSINS BOULEVARD

JEFFERSON, LA – Today, June 11, 2020, the right turning lane on westbound Cousins Blvd. onto northbound Barataria Blvd. will be closed for emergency repairs. Motorists are instructed to use the available turning lane for travel.

The closure is due to a drain line leaking, which has created a void under the turning lane. The installation of liner for the drain repair will be done at an estimated cost of $200,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, June 19, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
