CELEBRATE FOURTH OF JULY IN JEFFERSON PARISH

JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish will not be hosting Uncle Sam Jam this year, due to COVID-19; however, there are other social-distancing events taking place throughout the Parish for residents to celebrate Independence Day.

All residents attending these events are reminded to practice social distancing to help slow the spread of COVID-19. People who are sick should stay home.

The Jefferson Chamber will host Liberty at the Lake Drive-In Fireworks Show on Thursday, July 2nd from 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Bucktown Marina in Metairie. The tailgate party, featuring live music by the Bag of Donuts, food and bar trucks will be from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. followed by the fireworks show at 8:45 p.m. CLICK HERE for a press release. Z Event Company will host “Festing on the Fourth” on Saturday, July 4th from 3:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the Bucktown Harbor Park in Metairie. This event will be tailgate/drive-in style with musical performances by Amanda Shaw, Brass-a-holics, Flow Tribe and D-Play.
