CELEBRATE FOURTH OF JULY AT UNCLE SAM JAM ON MONDAY, JULY 3, 2023

JEFFERSON, LA – Celebrate America’s 247th birthday at Uncle Sam Jam on the Al Copeland Meadows in Lafreniere Park on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 2:30 – 10:30 p.m. (gates opening at 2:00 p.m.). Uncle Sam Jam is a free festival featuring top local and national acts and a fireworks show to close out the night. CLICK HERE to view the musical lineup.

For a VIP experience, a Stars & Stripes Pass, which includes parking inside the gates for one (1) vehicle, four (4) VIP wristbands, premium stage viewing, private cash bar and private comfort station/restroom, is available for $50.00 – CLICK HERE to purchase a pass (wristbands and parking pass will be available for pickup upon arrival to the festival); CLICK HERE to view the parking locations map. In addition, free parking is available on a first come first serve basis at the Shrine on Airline. A shuttle service will be available to and from Uncle Sam Jam.

For those interested in participating in this year’s hot dog eating contest, sponsored by Lucky Dogs, CLICK HERE. You must be 16+ to enter. The winner will receive a trophy, t-shirt, baseball cap and gift card to a local Jefferson Parish business! Registration is first come, first serve.

“Uncle Sam Jam is a tradition that welcomes everyone to deck out in their red, white and blue and celebrate our nation’s independence,” said Councilman Dominick Impastato. “This free family event in Lafreniere Park will feature top local and national acts, delicious food and great company, you won’t want to miss it! Thank you to the Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau, all of our partners, sponsors and Jefferson Parish staff for helping to put this festival on year after year for the enjoyment of our community.”

There will be many food and drink vendors, which include: Big Easy Treats / Dippin’ Dots, Cayenne Seafood Specialties, Couzan’s BBQ Team, Danny & Bonnie Seafood, Frytastic!, Kona Ice, NOLA Boils & Catering, Rosa’s Cocina, Bof Bars and the official concessionaire is Messina’s Catering & Events selling Coca-Cola and Southern Eagle products. Outside food or drinks will not be allowed.
