NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF UNINCORPORATED

JEFFERSON PARISH AND THE TOWN OF JEAN LAFITTE

4TH OF JULY GARBAGE COLLECTION NOTICE

JEFFERSON, LA – There will be no garbage collection in unincorporated Jefferson Parish and the Town of Jean Lafitte on Saturday, July 4th, 2020.

Residents normally scheduled to have garbage pick-up on a Saturday will not have their garbage picked up until Wednesday, July 8th, 2020. There will be no make-up day for the missed holiday collection.

The Jefferson Parish Landfill and all four Trash Drop-Off sites will close on Saturday, July 4th, 2020 and will reopen for business on Sunday, July 5th, 2020.

Curbside recycling collection will take place, as scheduled on Saturday, July 4th, 2020. For more information, please contact the Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs at (504) 731-4612.
