JEFFERSON, LA – The 2020 Big Easy Softball Tournament will take place in Jefferson Parish – at Lasalle Park (6600 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA 70003) from Friday, February 7 – Sunday, February 9, 2020. Join Councilman Deano Bonano, Councilman Dominick Impastato and Jefferson Parish officials for the opening ceremony to take place on Friday, February 7 at 9 a.m. Councilman Bonano and Councilman Impastato will throw the first pitch at 9:20 a.m., following the national anthem and a prayer. According to Councilman Bonano, “I am very excited to be hosting this event in Jefferson Parish, as it is the first time in history that this women's college softball tournament has been hosted in the Parish.” The weekend’s tournament schedule is as follows: Friday, Feb. 7 9:30 a.m. Louisiana Tech vs. Alabama A&M 9:30 a.m. Montana vs. Central Arkansas 9:30 a.m. Houston Baptist vs. Texas Tech 12 p.m. Alabama A&M vs. Houston Baptist 12 p.m. Central Arkansas vs. Jackson State 2:30 p.m. Louisiana Tech vs. Montana 2:30 p.m. Texas Tech vs. Jackson State Saturday, Feb. 8 9:30 a.m. Louisiana Tech vs. Houston Baptist 9:30 a.m. Texas Tech vs. Central Arkansas 9:30 a.m. Jackson State vs. Montana 12 p.m. Louisiana Tech vs. Texas Tech 12 p.m. Alabama A&M vs. Montana 2:30 p.m. Jackson State vs. Houston Baptist 2:30 p.m. Central Arkansas vs. Alabama A&M Sunday, Feb. 9 10 a.m. Louisiana Tech vs. Central Arkansas 10 a.m. Montana vs. Texas Tech 10 a.m. Houston Baptist vs. Alabama A&M Single day passes and Tournament passes are available.
