JEFFERSON PARISH, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ATMOS
ENERGY TO HOST TWO SHARE THE WARMTH BLITZ EVENTS
JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Community Action Programs Department (JeffCAP), in partnership with Atmos Energy, will be hosting two Share the Warmth Blitz events. The first event will be on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Johnny Jacobs Playground (5851 5th Street, Marrero, LA 70072) and the second event will be on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Hispanic Apostolate (2525 Maine Avenue, Kenner, LA 70062).
This outreach event, limited to 125 clients on a first come, first serve basis, and open only to Jefferson Parish residents, is to assist those disconnected or struggling to pay their natural gas bill. Funding is available to cover past due debit, deposits and service charges.
Attendees should have copies of ALL documentation needed to process their application on hand or it will not be processed. See below for eligibility requirements to process your application:
- Be an Atmos Energy residential customer and bill must be in applicant’s name
- Bring photo ID
- Bring a copy of your last bill and/or your account number
- Not have received three Share the Warmth pledges in the past year
- No appointment necessary
